Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Lion Rock, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. However, I did find the dining options a bit pricey, which was a downside for me. Overall, it's a great value for money considering the comfort and service I received.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The location was excellent, with breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions like Sigiriya. The rooms were comfortable, but I wish there had been better outdoor lighting. The service was outstanding, particularly thanks to the helpful reception staff. The dining was a mixed bag; while the breakfast was tasty, the dining area felt a bit chaotic. Overall, I found the hotel to be decent value for money, though some improvements in a few areas would really elevate the experience.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel; it had a nice jungle setting and beautiful views of Sigiriya rock. While the rooms were quite dated and could really benefit from a refresh, the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Mr. Manjule and Mr. Wiarathna. The dining options were plentiful and overall enjoyable, though the hotel is a bit removed from central Sigiriya, which might require a tuk-tuk for meals outside the hotel.
The hotel is located in a stunning area with lots of greenery and offers a magnificent view of Sigiriya. The rooms were spacious, but they felt a bit damp, which wasn't ideal for my stay. I really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who arranged everything I needed. However, the dining options were a bit limited and could use some improvement. Overall, it offers great value for money given the location and service.
The hotel has a beautiful setting around a small lake, surrounded by trees, and offers a nice swimming pool, but the rooms were in a very bad state and felt quite outdated. The service was cheerful and helpful, though they seem to need better training to anticipate guests' needs. It's a great location for outdoor activities, but the dining experience left a bit to be desired, especially given the number of flies present.
The hotel is set in a beautiful natural environment, surrounded by greenery and even a few monkeys nearby. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, but the old CRT television didn't work properly, which was kind of a letdown. The service was amazing, with friendly staff who went out of their way to help with arrangements like tours and transport. The location is fantastic for visiting Sigiriya and other nearby attractions, but the dining experience was a bit disappointing, especially for its price.
I had a pretty good time at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had a nice atmosphere, even though they could use a little updating. The service was friendly and super helpful with arranging excursions. The location offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, but being a bit removed from the center meant I had to rely on tuk-tuks for my dinners out. Overall, I felt it was decent value for the price, but the dining options were a bit limited.
I had a great experience at the hotel, which is situated in a fantastic location with stunning views. The rooms are spacious and incredibly clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help, making my stay even better. However, the dining options left something to be desired as there were a few misses in quality. Overall, it was a good value for the money and a wonderful place to relax.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was stunning, surrounded by greenery and wildlife, which I loved. The service staff was friendly and eager to help, but I was disappointed by the rooms, which felt damp and were quite far from the main amenities. Overall, while the location and service were highlights, the room quality was a letdown.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, especially because it's in an excellent location with amazing views of Sigiriya rock, which reminded me of an African safari lodge. The pool area was lovely, but I found the rooms to be a bit outdated and the lack of air conditioning made my stay less comfortable. Overall, it's a decent place but could use some updates to enhance the experience.
